Pingback: New Upcoming Christian Movies, Series, and Entertainment – Box Office Revolution
I completely forgot this movie existed, Lol. What is it about exactly? Because it basically looks like another one of those doomsday scenarios where some sort of eco/government based system fails or the world just begins to end for no apparent reason. Which automatically causes a breakout in looting and violence where everyone has about three guns each within a span of two minutes after this disaster ensued. “The Good Characters” are then forced to head out to into the woods to “survive” the “apocalypse”. Not to mention there is always a band of bad motorcyclists/guys in big trucks (lead by Bryan Bosworth, Eric Roberts etc. Who are always out to get people (Kevin Sorbo and his group of “good guys”) just because. Then you somehow tie all of this together to make it seem like it has some sort of deep theological Christian message. Am I right or wrong?

You are right! And may I say kudos to you for not being afraid to criticize a Christian film. We need more honest opinions like yours in Christian entertainment.

I have no idea what theological message is intended, but good luck to you when the power goes out for more than a few days.

The production team is currently re-editing the film with the hopes of decreasing the R rating to a PG-13 rating.

Oh I miss the Yearys so much. They were some of my closest friends when we were in town.
We should announce a theatrical release date soon, according to our distributor.

We concluded post production in June of this year and are fielding offers now. I have an attorney looking through a contract as we speak. We are raising some money for marketing and are about to commence giving away some generous perks including a handgun used in the movie by Kevin Sorbo his character. “Like” our Facebook page to keep up to date.
Thanks for your patience. And your interest.

Ooh you mean Kevin Sorbo himself touched the handgun, where do I sign?

This looks like another lame attempt at a Christian/Action film about “The End Times” or some kind of weird world view plot. Hopefully i am wrong!

lol. Like you, I’m done with “end times” movies. I’m not about preaching to the choir. Not in the slightest.

Not a believer, huh? Yep, Christian cinema has been predictably cheesy, so I don’t blame you. Well, we’re trying to break the mold.
