Plot Summary
The end of the world is nearing, and all of the bees are dying. Thus, Dr. BEEatrix Cera has been enlisted by the mysterious Chairman of New World Genetics to create the Immortal Bee, an experiment that will causes bees to live forever and produce food that makes humans live forever. Simple right? Well, with the food stores running out, even though cancer has been cured by a random Catholic guy who gives food away, the Chairman demands immortality from BEEatrix. However, at what cost will BEEatrix go to save the world and try to get rid of the dreams of Jesus she keeps having? What will happen when the end finally comes?
Production Quality (2 points)
While it’s clear that time and effort was spent on this independent production, which is evidenced in the good video quality and camera work throughout, this film still seems quite indie. While the sets, locations, and props are fairly well done and while the soundtrack is intriguing, there is quite a bit of obvious CGI and cheesy animated overlaying throughout this film. However, audio quality is fine, and the only other issue to point out here is that the editing is quite choppy. Nevertheless, there is enough effort and funding here to make this an overall above-average production that is reminiscent of the modern productions we see in Christian film today.
Plot and Storyline Quality (0 points)
What the world doesn’t need is another half-baked Christian apocalyptic film, but at least The Second Coming of Christ gets past that overused speculative beginning of the tribulation known as the Rapture. We rarely get a look at the end of the apocalypse in the Christian cinematic universe, but we get that opportunity in this film. However, it doesn’t deliver at all. The plot is very incoherent as it is based on flimsy dialogue and very thin and empty characters. A lot of the end times elements are presented in a very juvenile fashion, and key concepts of this storyline are not well-explained at all as the entire world hangs in the balance waiting for immortal bees to be born. Umm, what? Besides this, the villain is very cheesy, and there is a lot of Catholic message-pushing. There is very little to hold the interest, and this seems more like a regular sci-fi plot rather than and end-of-the-world depiction. It’s really quite boring, actually.
Acting Quality (.5 point)
The acting of this film is particularly bad as all of the emotions are painfully forced, as if through a sieve, and the cast members are extremely dramatic with their line delivery. Some cast members, however, are just lackadaisical or clueless. There is a tiny amount of good here (how did Quinton Aaron get stuck in this movie?), but on the whole, this section wraps up a very poor film effort.
Conclusion
It seems like this movie started off with half of an idea and just tried to run with it without realizing that it was running on fumes and had nothing substantial to show for it at all. How are films like this even made? Think of all the projects that get abandoned, but stuff like this one gets put through. Well, at least we can say there’s never been a Christian film about the bee apocalypse before this one. There are new ideas being born daily, apparently.

Yes, the entire team here is saved by Jesus 🙂 The content and nature of the end times will remain a mystery to all Christians until they begin, and we believe that this was by design so that we don’t focus too much on them. Brother, in love I ask, are you in the dark right now as to what is happening and how Biblical Prophecy is being fulfilled? On how the Day of Our (a Day for believers only) Lord Jesus Christ is soon approaching. YES, THE RAPTURE IS REAL. Then the Peace covenant is confirmed (when Christians exit). Anything else is BAD news. To be here on earth for 7yrs or even 3.5yrs IS NOT GOOD NEWS. We have the GOOD NEWS as believers. The BAD News is for the non-bellievers. See we are CURRENTLY under NEW BLOOD Covenant. Ours is a NEW Testament of God.
I have taught eschatology for 30 yrs (not boasting) and I have ALWAYS preached GOOD NEWS. Paul explained the Rapture and then he said, therefore “Comfort each other with THESE WORDS”. Why? Because THAT IS THER GOOD NEWS. Anything else is bad news. The entire 7yrs is God’s wrath, though not the bowls of wrath. WE ARE ALREADY Saved of the COMING Wrath.
We can already know of A LOT. I do. You should too. IT IS WRITTEN. It is happening.
If we are supposed to be in the dark about DETAILS, then what do these verses mean anyway?
1 Cor 2:10 “But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.”
Do you not have the Holy Spirit?
1 Cor 2:16 “For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.”
Have you the “Mind of Christ” (to think and know)
Col 2:3 “…attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Have you Understanding & Knowledge? Does Christ abide in you? Then “in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” lives in you.
Prov 25:2 “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.”
Have you “searched out”?
Matt 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”
Have you truly Asked, Searched & Knocked” for these answers? Or do you rest on what man teaches – that which he learned from “school” I have learned no thing from a school or man, but only through Fasting, Praying & Meditating. As well as Asking, Seeking & Knocking:
1 Jn 2:26,27 “These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. 27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.”
God promises to inform us:
Amos 3:7 “Surely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.”
Are you His servant, His prophet in these last days? I am. My congregation is.
Deut 29:29 “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.
Do you understand the End from the Beginning has been revealed to His children?
Through much fasting and prayer, I disciple & encourage these truths for 30yrs.
Look up friend, “your redemption draws near”…..right before ‘it’ hits the fan down here. We are His bride and He ain’t no wife-beater. He is coming for you and me.
We should have no other message to preach amongst believers. I apologize friend, but my God-given measure of FAITH tells me differently. That I can in-fact know what is happening and what will happen. To think anything otherwise is absurd. I am one to believe that the “Deep still calls to the Deep”, that Jesus wants to feed us “Meat” and move us on from “milk” ( you probably know these verses so I won’t include). I encourage you, God DOES want to share with you “secrets” that the ‘world as well as the unsaved Jews, don’t know. Erase what man has taught you and “Fast….Ask….Seek….Knock”. Friend, Brother: I fed you a lot of verses, from which where FAITH is derived. God’s Word.
It would not be fair to not give you the opportunity and challenge you to provide verses on this statement of yours – that my FAITH may be ‘changed’ by God’s shaping word. That I be made single-minded with you – as Paul calls us to be in several of his teachings. Please show me in the Bible where it says this:

Do you think the Prophets and Apostles were of this nature? To be not too concerned or focused about these truths of what is coming and when. Was not Daniel in distress and sought the answers of the prophecies given to him. Was John not made weak by his quest to “understand’.
Was Jesus Himself not into detail of the ‘end times’ and the order and nature of events??? I am having difficulty in comprehending your statement. Shall I receive this as if I were receiving this word of Knowledge from Holy Spirit – who guides us into ALL Truth and Righteousness? Shall I dispose of half a lifetime of instruction of details and events given by the Holy Spirit through prophecy?
Or should I take this as “your own understanding”?
